Up to 8th November

Sunday 8th November – Ending up the week was another virtual running challenge from Greener Miles Running. This weeks was a 90 minute challenge as part of a team. There were bonus points for running in the dark, plus taking selfies of names of hills on street signs; ‘Hill Road’, ‘Causey Brae’ and so on. I crafted a route around Hexham (which is hilly) taking in as many places as possible. Someone took my route and fine tuned it to almost perfection. Then with some intel about the location of the signs I was all set to go! I’m not in top shape so I decided to do it as a long run. And a fun run too. And what fun it was, never has the potential for a boring trundle around town been enlivened more by a treasure hunt.
