It Begins!
Well, where to begin?
In the last few weeks my first child was born, we have sold our house, and I have started training again!
It’s the last thing that I will focus my energies on here. I have run reasonably fast in the past; 38 minutes ish for 10k, 1.5 hours for half marathon, and 3 hours 10 ish for a marathon. But my big problem is injury. At the moment I am suffering from Plantar Fasciitis. This has been going on for so long, that I have effectively decided to start training again anyway.
So, the plan is that I will catalogue my progress towards running well again.
The headline figure is this; 85.5kg and 18.2% fat. In my prime I was under 80kg and closing in on 5% fat.
Problem is; to quickly get down to my fighting weight it’s simplest for my to eat pretty much the same, then do lots of exercise.
This won’t work as:
A) I have lingering Plantar Fasciitis.
B) I have a 4 week old baby.
It won’t stop me trying though.
